Our production team communicated with Optical Revolutions to decide when would be the most suitable time for filming, as they would have to close the store to the public for the filming. The whole video production team travelled to their newly refurbished store in Colchester for a day shoot, where they would film all aspects of the opticians. The team split into two groups, with one doing photography and the other filming B-roll clips, the main aim of both was to capture the critical areas of the store, the eye examination process and the general walkthrough of their customer experience. Once the footage had been taken, we edited the videos together and worked with the client over a two week period to make sure they were happy. It was essential to provide a quick turnaround time due to the store opening dates and the website launch.
